Sir Hellsing (ヘルシング卿,,Herushingu-Kyō) is a pivotal posthumous character in the Hellsing anime series produced by Gonzo. He is voiced by Chikao Ohtsuka in the Japanese sub and John E. Breen in the English dub.
The son of Abraham Van Helsing and the father of Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing, he was the former head of the Hellsing Organisation and master of Alucard before passing his legacy down to Integra after his untimely death due to an unknown illness. With his expansive knowledge of the midians, he protected Great Britain from the occult for decades with integrity and determination, which garnered him Alucard's respect. He was also great friends with Sir Islands and Sir Penwood.
