Hellsing: Digest for Freaks is a small preview of OVA 1. It contained most of the episode though some scenes from the original video were cut, condensing it into a runtime of about thirty minutes.
Digest for FREAKS was also once misspelled in the official site of the Hellsing OVA as "Digest for Fleaks." The staff said that while it's set to broadcast on TV Kanekagawa on Wednesday of June, it's heavily rushed. This announcement was also a delay, as it was previously announced to broadcast on TV Kanekagawa on January 22nd Sunday instead of July.
Summary
In present day England, Alucard is called to duty to eradicate a vampire priest and his ghouls. However, a young and fascinating policewoman responding to the disturbance named Seras Victoria is gravely injured in the process, and upon giving her a choice to live or die, Alucard turns her into his vampire servant. Later, on a mission to hunt down a vampire in the town of Badrick in Northern Ireland, Alucard meets and fights the strongest member of the Iscariot Organization.

Differences
Though most of the cuts were minor, it did cut some several critical scenes that were vital to the plot/character development, as even the entire scene of Integra's backstory which featured Arthur Hellsing, Richard Hellsing and Alucard's awakening was cut. The hunt for Leif and Jessica was also removed, and most of the scenes that were present in this and the official 40+ mins release was shortened and condensed.
