MURDER CLUB《Mādākurabu》is the third chapter of Hellsing: Volume 1, and the overall third chapter of the Hellsing manga created by Kohta Hirano.
Summary
The multiple murders of families around the suburbs of Birmingham leave the police baffled, as the perpetrators had intentionally left anti-Christ messages and drawings with blood, leaving them confused and sick. With no other choice, Chief Malfas' high command transferred authority over to the Hellsing Agency; subsequently, the director of the agency, Integra Hellsing, made her appearance on the case. Upon hearing the details, she is enraged by the heretical messages and quickly conjures up a plan to catch the lunatic vampiric duo. She calls and relies upon expert Alucard and trainee Seras Victoria to handle the situation swiftly.
Synopsis
Within the suburbs of Birmingham on August 12th, a spree of murders of families is happening in one night. A particular house on Route 17 is freaking out the police, in which a message written in blood on the walls, insulting the church and Christians, is leading them to call the special agency, Hellsing, in order to assist them with the situation. Upon arriving not so much later, Integra Hellsing is then approached by the commander, Chief Malfas, who tells her about the details of the murders that had happened an hour ago, revealing harrowing conditions of the corpses that suspects them to be done by the occult. Due to the fact that the situation is completely impossible for them to handle, Malfas' high command transfers the authority over to the Hellsing Agency. Integra smirks and says that she understands.
Heterical message written in blood
Giving her a map of the area due to her request, Malfas explains that they are targeting pre-selected houses and families. Before then, Integra orders him to dispose of the corpses quickly before they turn into a ghoul and not to worry, as she had already sent her two special agents after them. Angered by the anti-Christ messages that they have written on the wall, Integra calls them "freaks" and interprets it as an insult to the Protestant Church, England, and Hellsing, proclaiming that this will be the last time.
Alucard points his .454 Casull through the keyhole that Huger is peeking through
Far away, the vampire Alucard stands on a hill waiting for the target to make a move. Inside the house, the perpetrators, Huger and Jessica, make out as they gleefully revel in the thought of being immortal for the rest of their lives, together, as they only have nine more to go, laughing at the mere sight of the police desperately attempting to stop them. They were interrupted by a bell ringing at the front door. Annoyed, Huger tells Jessica to not go anywhere as he pulls out his Škorpion SMG in order to deal with him. Peeking through the keyhole, he was met by Alucard pointing his .454 Casull. Stunned and surprised, he was met by a barrage of bullets through the door, sending him flying to the wall behind.
Alucard aims the .454 Casull towards Huger
After recovering, he takes a look back at the door but is met by Alucard peeking through the hole that had been shot through, smiling. Opening the door, Alucard stood before aiming his .454 Casull once again towards Huger. In a rush, Huger quickly aims towards Alucard and shoots relentlessly, only to be met by all the storms of bullets blocked by Alucard. As the cloud of smoke clears, Alucard slowly walks towards Huger as he belittles him for his pathetic attempt to gain immortality and over the fact that he thinks he can be a Nosferatu.
Scared for his life, Huger quickly runs in a desperate attempt to escape Alucard. He, however, was too late and was met by a barrage of bullets once again. Once stunned to the wall, Alucard rushes towards Huger and impales him through the heart quickly with his arm. Letting go, Huger's body collapses and turns into dust. Turning back to finish Jessica, Alucard sees that the window in front had already been opened. Noticing that the girl had escaped, Alucard orders Seras, who is up on the roof of a house, to not let the girl escape. Sweating profusely, Seras informs Alucard that she is so far away.
Seras unlocks her third eye
However, she is quickly dismissed by Alucard, who advises her to shoot with her third eye. Seras then complains that it is too dark and that she can barely see anything, along with the fact that she does not have a scope. Alucard assesses that the problem she is having is a human's, something she is not. Focusing on Jessica, she unlocks her third eye ability to see her far more closely than a scope could. Taking the shot, she precisely hit Jessica on the heart with the Baerlks, causing Jessica to flop to the ground and die, turning to dust.
Shocked by the fact that she hardly felt the recoil of the gun and that, despite it being at night, she saw her running like it was high noon. She then wonders, worrying about her condition of being a vampire, and questions her body. Back at the Hellsing Headquarters, Integra wonders about the recent vampiric attacks and how there should not be this many attacks happening. She then suspects that there is someone running an operation of a vampire production line.
