ULTIMA ON LINE《Urutima On Rain》is the sixth chapter of Hellsing: Volume 4, and the overall twenty-fourth chapter of the Hellsing manga created by Kohta Hirano.
Summary
The Major continues, trying to help his adversaries understand that his reasons for causing a war do not exist. The Round Table Council is then horrified at the sight of the Last Battalion vampires laying waste to the Colonel, prompting Enrico Maxwell to state that all of the members of Millennium are insane; The Major argues that the obvious must not need to be expressed, so Maxwell is 50 years too late in declaring them insane. He shouts and declares war on Alucard, erupting a maniacal laugh from the vampire, who gladly accepts, commending his declaration as "superb."
Synopsis
Integra Hellsing's question left The Major confused, as he does not have a "goal," per se, leading to an outburst by Hugh Irons—an outburst that is promptly shot down by The Major, who demands him to be silent, stating that he is speaking with Integra; he says that while settling no means in obtaining [your] goals is a "Machiavellian" rudiment, he does not know what that is. He then snaps his finger, letting his vampiric battalion devour the Colonel, horrifying the knights. Enrico Maxwell watches in disgust, proclaiming that all of Millennium are insane.
This immediately receives a response from The Major, who states that it is their God who guarantees his madness, questioning the opposite in who would guarantee the sanity of his God; he expresses that Maxwell is half a century late in judging their insanity: they are the Schutzstaffel, the "Death's Head Division," which is said to have breathed combat and violence themselves. He challenges Iscariot, who he sarcastically describes as the "self-styled standards of normality," but proclaims that his enemy is not Iscariot; rather, it is Alucard. The official declaration of war stemming from The Major erupts Alucard into an intense burst of laughter, accepting the offer of combat (destroying them any number of times) and commending The Major's declaration as something "superb."
The Major argues, telling Alucard that he will overturn unsatisfactory any number of times, but confirms that they are the most "vengeful type there is." Having enough of the debacle, Integra commands Alucard to shoot Schrödinger. The Major is surprised by the uncharacteristic violence Integra is displaying, asking how she could kill a mere messenger. Integra mocks The Major and his declaration, stating that they would not accept them as a legitimate enemy threat and as merely a group of terrorists. She says with a calm demeanor that they will rid the world of Millennium's existence as nothing more than a simple job, but The Major says that she betrayed herself by her quivering fist, causing Integra to clench her fist and sweat.
The Major smiles, remarks that he understands how Alucard could work for her in that she is a good "Master," and then bids farewell, looking forward to seeing them on the battlefield after Schrödinger's corpse miraculously disappears. Soon after, Integra orders Seras Victoria to destroy the monitor. The Queen orders Alucard and Integra to "bring them all down."
