Synopsis
On June 14th, a lone Vicar made his way to Cheddar, a quiet village located in the northern part of England. He soon became the village's pastor, but his behavior proved odd enough to warrant an investigation after a young man mysteriously disappeared a week later. More incidents followed until a total of 10 villagers disappeared, but a boy managed to escape and testified to a policeman, causing a couple of villagers and a policeman to investigate the Vicar. The Vicar responded with violence, revealing his nature as a vampire, and mercilessly killed them afterwards.
The arrival of Hellsing's Director
On July 5th, the Hellsing Agency is called upon to investigate the situation themselves after a high command transfers the authority over to the agency. Integra Hellsing, the director of the Agency, meets with the commander dealing with the case; he proceeds to explains that a unit they sent in, three hours earlier, lost contact but took a picture that caused them to be perplexed. He asks Integra about the nature of those creatures, to which she explain that they are "ghouls," beings created by a vampire attack on non-virgins, suspecting that a vampire might inhabit the village. This answer arouses even more confusion, but Integra stands firm, stating that Hellsing will do the honors in killing the head vampire controlling the ghouls that fill the village.
Hellsing's special anti-vampire expert, Alucard, described as an expert that is second to no one, walks through the forest calmly before he moon gazes, complimenting the night. Seras Victoria, a survivor of the lost unit, narrowly escapes from the vampiric Vicar and wanders through the forest with her pistol. She pants before shooting back at the Vicar behind, only for him to grab her by the neck in a flash, expressing that all he wants are devoted slaves and that he will go through to extreme measures to ensure that she does not become a vampire with free will. Seras lets out a harrowing scream, but suddenly Alucard appears behind the Vicar. Alucard starts hurling satirical insults towards the Vicar, introducing himself as a "Hit Man" for the Vicar's kind.
Alucard gets hit by a barrage of bullets
The Vicar brushes it off, snapping his finger and uttering "Kill him," commanding his army of weaponized ghouls to let out a hail of bullets towards Alucard, shredding him into the ground, after which the Vicar proceeds to mock Alucard, but then he hears a laugh coming from the corpse. Mists approaches Alucard and regenerates his body slowly, to which he then states that guns would not do a thing against vampires. Yet, he subsequently remarks that only ordinary guns would never be able to kill vampires; regenerating fully, Alucard stands up and pulls out a huge pistol with a long barrel, much to the shock of the Vicar, then he aims it at him.
Alucard points his customized pistol, the .454 Casull, towards the Vicar
Before then he fires at the ghouls and rotates, killing the surrounding ghouls with a spray of bullets from his pistol. Watching the massacre, the Vicar is baffled at the thought of a vampire aligning himself with humans, but Alucard remarks that vampires would go extinct if "little turds" like the Vicar keep going on mindless rampages, while also noting that he cannot disobey the humans. Explaining what type of ammunition the pistol is filled with, he then points the gun at the Vicar. Now in fear, the Vicar then hides behind Seras Victoria and intends to use her as a tool for bargaining, offering Alucard her life for a simple chance of escaping. Alucard gazes at the girl and asks if she is a virgin, shocking Seras and the Vicar who questions his actions, but Alucard demands answers. Seras confirms that she is frantically, before being shot through the chest by Alucard, penetrating the Vicar's heart, causing the Vicar to let go of the grip.
Alucard returns from the mission
In a frantic, short time frame, Alucard smiles and plunges his right arm, impaling the Vicar's heart and blowing him into dust, ending the Vicar. Alucard apologizes to Seras, who lies on the ground nearing her death. Then, Alucard asks about what Seras would do next, smiling. Back at the tent, Integra sees Alucard's return and congratulates him, asking him about the outcome. Alucard, carrying Seras, states that there are no survivors and that the Vicar is dead. Confused, as Alucard is carrying a police girl, Alucard then informs Integra that Seras is a vampire, causing Integra to freak out, making Alucard apologize as he notes that he "couldn't help it."
