In shock and panic, he shouts, "What the hell are you, anyway?!" while Alucard morphs himself into shape. He questions Luke's intentions and tells him to hurry in retaliating, only to be met with disappointment when Luke calls him a "freak." Realizing Luke's true nature as a coward, Alucard is disgusted and promptly devours Luke with Baskerville. Meanwhile, Seras Victoria goes berserk on the ghouls of the Hellsing Agency military, prompting Integra Hellsing's interference, while Walter C. Dornez interrogates Jan Valentine.
Synopsis
Seeing Luke attempting to run away, Alucard morphs his arm out of the dog's mouth and aims the Jackal at Luke's legs. He shot off the left leg, causing Luke to limp but still try to make it to the staircase. However, near the stairs, Alucard shoots Luke's right leg, which causes Luke to fall over near the first steps. As the powder smoke emits from the Jackal, Luke is in a daze and sweats, subsequently shouting and asking for Alucard's true nature, which causes Alucard to morph himself out of the dogs and from centipedes as Luke watches in fear.
Alucard pulls out one of Luke's missing limbs, asking Luke, "What's the matter?" as he only had a "couple of legs blown off." He then demands Luke retaliate, telling him to summon his familiars, disengage his body, reconstruct his legs, stand up, pick up his gun, and fight back. He remarks that "the night's only just begun" and "here's where it gets fun." In the face of Alucard's insanity and madness, Luke shouts and proclaims that Alucard is a freak. This answer and revelation that Luke is a coward disgusted and shocked Alucard, who he had previously perceived as a true threat.
Realizing that he is a good-for-nothing, Alucard insults and demeans Luke, prompting Luke to profess that Alucard is just a "Hellsing toy" and a dog of the Anglican Church. Amidst Luke's insults, Alucard orders Luke to silence. Morphing his right arm into Baskerville, Alucard smiles and declares Luke "dog food," and thereafter charges Baskerville at Luke, who despairingly retaliates by revealing a hidden pistol underneath his sleeves and empties it on Baskerville to no effect. Lunging himself onto Luke, Baskerville proceeds to devour and torture Luke, to which Alucard comments and mocks Luke's abilities and calls him a "piece of dogshit." He perceives that the target upstairs is weak but wonders why he is giving them a hard time.
The band of Hellsing Agency military ghouls surrounds Seras, and in desperation and rage, Seras goes berserk as Integra watches from the distance and is in shock at the state of her staff. While Integra watches in horror, Seras lays waste to the ghouls as Integra runs over and embraces her, telling her that it is enough and that she has done enough in distress. This made Seras wake up, as she stood confused about what had just happened and screamed in horror when she realized what she had just done. Concurrently, Walter C. Dornez kicks Jan Valentine to the wall, who only laughs. Jan compliments Walter's skills, but Walter assures Jan that he won't be killed until after he tells them everything he knows, to which Jan states that they (Hellsing) are "dumbasses."
Integra walks over with a gun in her hand as Jan greets her in a demeaning way. Clenching, Integra shoots Jan multiple times, to which she says that she has had enough. She then begins to ask Jan questions about who they are, how they managed the attack, and who sent them. However, Jan laughs manically, in response to which Integra shouts at him to stop laughing and answer hopelessly. Jan then says that the Speech Chip buried inside of him sends info back to their leaders, and they are probably hearing the conversation word-for-word, so they know that the Valentine Brothers screwed up, to which he sarcastically asks Integra if she thinks that they would let him live with the failure.
Jan snaps his finger and erupts in fire, catching Integra, Walter, and Seras off-guard. As Jan stares at the trio, he laughs manically and decides that he will give them one clue, catching their attention. He gestures the middle finger and says "Millennium" while he disintegrates, finally dying. Baffled, Integra memorizes the clue while Walter asks if she bears any harm, to which she replies that they should put the Hellsing army out of their misery first. Walter agrees but is stopped by Hugh Irons, who states that it is the commander's job to do so, and so it is Integra's duty, handing her his revolver. Though Walter tries to change Irons' mind, he is adamant and puts the blame on Integra, who accepts the duty. Seras watches speechless.
Integra walks over to the Hellsing Agency military ghouls and then says that she would not ask for their forgiveness and puts the blame on herself. She then executes the remaining ghouls, while Irons orders Walter to look into Millennium; he states that they will repay them, Millennium, a billion-fold for their horrific actions. Meanwhile, somewhere, a man covered in silhouette orders his men to resume their research.
