FINAL FANTASY ③ is the first chapter of Hellsing: Volume 6, and the overall thirty-eighth chapter of the Hellsing manga created by Kohta Hirano. It is the third part of Final Fantasy.
Summary
Graphically, the vampirized Waffen-SS starts to massacre the London population with extreme cruelty to the point where the dead revive themselves as ghouls, beginning the cannibalization. Meanwhile, Integra Hellsing prepares her escape to the Hellsing Headquarters with Walter C. Dornez as The Major arranges the head start for the invasion of the Hellsing Headquarters led by "Brown Insanity" Zorin Blitz.
Synopsis
- "The soldiers line up... and march down the road. To wage war upon a distant enemy. They just keep marching on. Just so they can die... in this time gone mad. Who knows why... Through the depths of their hearts. Are so totally dark. Nothing can be seen. They stand in a wind-blown field. Counting the number of corpses. In the plaza. The soldiers are dancing in a circle. But they have no time for that. To make their escape. To prolong... the length of their lives. They watch how the rotten shadow from the clocktower at the end of the world falls across the red field.

The gruesome parade of the vampirized Waffen-SS
The massacre ensues as the Last Battalion marches down towards the streets and kills any civilian in sight to their desires, which are never fulfilled. The brutality of the Waffen-SS and the fulfilling of 50 years of longing vengeance are laid bare at the feet of atrocities that have been unseen in war since before the dawn of sophisticated society. Through the flames of London, they keep marching on and on, finding any and all survivors to feast upon, staking them within the sea of blood and corpses as the dead revive themselves as ghouls, cannibalizing themselves. Their heads are decapitated and attached at the end of their bayonets, dancing with something that they consider their "trophies," all while The Major simply watches the madness that he had caused.
Integra offers her condolences to the policemen that fell in battle
A stronghold of London police officers attempts to protect themselves from incoming ghouls, but they are soon brutalized by a single armed Last Battalion vampire. Suddenly, he is shot and killed by Integra Hellsing, sitting in a car from a distance, and then she looks at the corpses of the police officers, where she commends them for the duty they have fulfilled, wishing them to finally be at peace, sleeping. For the deaths of the countrymen, Integra asks Walter C. Dornez to speed up and hurry to avenge them. In the airship, The Major is informed by one of his men that Integra is sighted within London.
"Now how will you respond, Hellsing? Show me your capabilities. The Brown Insanity will be your opponent."
The Major promptly orders the "Edelheit Squad" to move forward and intercept and tells the captain of the airship to move the ship out of the vanguard in a direction to Integra's, remarking that they "must keep an appointment." Zorin Blitz reports to The Major that she is moving on in position to strike the Hellsing Headquarters, where they both soon declare the Nazi salute. The Major orders the launching of the nine V1s that remain to the Hellsing Headquarters, where it will be Zorin's herald. He grins, demanding Hellsing to show their capabilities, as the "Brown Insanity" will be their opponent.
Within the Hellsing Headquarters, Seras Victoria awaits.

- The chapter title is derived from a video game titled "Final Fantasy" released in 1987.
- The prologue of the chapter, which spans 11 pages, includes lyrics from Yasuminokuni's "Akuma Stocking (悪魔巣取金愚)." The song would later be covered by Tokusatsu for the fifth installment of the OVA.
