Synopsis

Integra Hellsing and Walter C. Dornez's drive to return to the Hellsing Headquarters continues and reaches ahead when they are forced to go full throttle and run down ghouls that fill the streets of London; however, they are soon spotted by the Last Battalion, who signals a chase in an attempt to seize the director of the Hellsing Agency. Walter informs Integra of the radio signal somehow tuning in, later hearing the voice of Shelby M. Penwood, who dedicates his final transmission to declare an order to "Resist and carry out your duties," acknowledging that the headquarters he is in will soon be promptly breached. The room, filled with the dead and blood in an attempt to hold down the heavily important communications section, remains one marine and Penwood, who is alive.

The marine bids Penwood farewell, sarcastically remarking that he is not much for becoming a "zombie," before pointing a revolver to his head and pulling the trigger. Penwood opens a trigger that would detonate the room rigged with explosives while recalling his first meeting with the then-young Integra Hellsing, who had just become the family head of Hellsing; her expensive demands, which she implies will rival Arthur Hellsing's, frighten Penwood. The door is then finally breached in by the vampire lieutenant and a squad of vampire soldiers, who gloat, causing Penwood to declare, "You lot are... You're good for even less than I am," in a trembling manner.

The group of vampires realizes that the room is surrounded by explosives, with the trigger being held by Penwood; Penwood bids Integra farewell, saying that it has been fun for him. When the vampire lieutenant pulls out a pistol and demands Penwood to think otherwise, Penwood states that it was one favor that he cannot grant and presses down on the trigger, detonating the explosive and killing everyone within the building. The radio inside Integra and Walter's vehicles starts to malfunction, causing Integra to presume Penwood's demise, immediately ordering Walter to speed the vehicle in an emotional fit.

Reunion

Reunion

As the vehicle rushes to Hellsing Headquarters, they are stopped by a lone figure that Walter recognizes. Walter tells Integra to back up the car and find another route, which would be her escape, stepping out of the vehicle slowly. Integra worries, but Walter's persistence causes Integra to relent; in exchange, she gives him a direct order to come back alive. She then proceeds to drive off as Walter attempts to fight The Captain, the latter of whom stops the former's attack by simply grabbing the Monofilament Wires with his hands. The airship spots Walter as he struggles to even move a muscle. The Major remarks on the fifty-five-year-long reunion and comments about how Walter was always the one to disturb mealtime. Meanwhile, Integra is once again spotted by the Last Battalion, ensuing a chase.
