DディーDī-ichi》is the seventh chapter of Hellsing: Volume 4, and the overall twenty-fifth chapter of the Hellsing manga created by Kohta Hirano.

Summary

Alexander Anderson and Enrico Maxwell discuss the proceedings of the meeting, as well as the plans of the Ninth Crusade. Together, they concoct a plan to attack the Hellsing Agency and the Last Battalion with a flank, after which Anderson is commanded to return as quickly as possible by any means necessary. The Major discusses with his entourage his plans, and Millennium launches an attack against an English aircraft carrier, spearheaded by Rip Van Winkle.

Synopsis

Alexander Anderson discusses with Enrico Maxwell concerning Millennium, suggesting that their intelligence is actively being leaked to Millennium; since he landed in South America, he has been ambushed 4 times, yet none of them have been vampires, only adherents. He agitates in that he might be mocked. Maxwell implies otherwise, stating that they are merely trying to keep him occupied and buy themselves time, stating that their enemy is Britain. Anderson questions if he is happy, since everything has gone completely with his plan. Maxwell expresses that his feelings are split, prompting Anderson to ask of his reasoning in not arguing back, as The Major even went as far as calling their God "mad," to which Maxwell answers the pointlessness in such actions as their primary focus is on Hellsing and Alucard.

Maxwell clenches his phone, declaring that Iscariot will hit Hellsing and Millennium with everything they have got in perfect timing, catching Anderson's attention. Maxwell goes on, saying that he has gathered multiple Knights under orders from the Pope concerning "Mobilization," informing Anderson that Section III is preparing suitable weapons to be used for anti-vampire combat. Anderson comments that it is just like a "crusade," and Maxwell agrees, proclaiming that the enemy they are fighting now is not "Allah," but "Mars." He tells Anderson that he is Iscariot's Trump Card, their "Joker," commanding him to return immediately no matter the means. Anderson ends the conversation with an Amen and then turns to the mercenaries lined up against him and proceeds to cut his way through them.

On the corridor of the Deus Ex Machina, with The Professor and The Captain beside him, The Major strolls. The Professor states that there is no going back on their decision, triggering a response from The Major, who remarks, "The curtain has been up on this play for over fifty years." The Major comments that Millennium has grabbed them by the scruff of their necks, turning their eyes on Millennium, and once the "dance (war)" begins, he will dance until the very end. The Professor humors. He steps into the command center, where he was greeted by the rest of Millennium with a salute. He returns it to them with a smirk. In his command chair, Schrödinger sits, sarcastically telling The Major to lose weight, to which The Major responds with the impossibility of such action.

The Professor grabs and pulls Schrödinger by the back of his collar upwards, scolding him for his behavior. The Major laughs it off and says that Schrodinger completed his mission and should be allowed to do whatever he wants. The Major then takes his chair and sits down as they begin an operation. Schrödinger mentions that it looks like fireworks, and The Major states that it is a bit different from fireworks; rather, they are the "beacons of treachery" that would mark the return of the Third Reich. A helicopter is then seen flying toward an English Aircraft Carrier, making ready to land.
